European Urban Future Alliance
WELCOME · LAUNCH PARTNERSHIP DECK

Europe doesn’t have a city problem. It has a courage problem.

Across the continent, cities build bike lanes and green roofs — and call it progress. It isn’t. What makes a city actually liveable for the individual person who lives in it is not produced in working groups, it is built by people and companies willing to try something new. The research exists, as do the solutions and the providers to deliver them. The transfer between them does not. So the same mistakes get made again in a different city every year. We built the European Urban Future Alliance because Europe can be way more than that. Because Europe’s cities have everything it takes to become bold, unstoppable engines of innovation.

01 // HERO
→ THE OPPORTUNITY
European Urban Future Alliance.

One continent. One conversation. One future.

The European Urban Future Alliance is where the people who actually run Europe’s cities meet the companies willing to help rebuild them. Issue 01 “Beat the Heat” lands on 30 June 2026, in English, on 30,000 desks across 27 countries, all at once. If you want your company to stand next to that conversation, the rest of this deck is the how.

02 // THE GAP
WHY THIS ALLIANCE EXISTS

Europe is stagnating. And it still has every reason to lead.

450M
PEOPLE · ONE CONTINENT
live across Europe, in cities that have more talent, more research, more craft and more historic confidence than almost anywhere else on the planet. The raw material is unmatched. What’s missing is the nerve to actually use it.
27→1
MEMBER STATES, ONE URBAN REALITY
Paris, Barcelona, Vienna and Lisbon share more with each other than any of them shares with the national capital that governs them. Cities are ready to move faster than their states. They just need a stage where they can see each other work.
KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER, MULTIPLIED
The research is there. The solutions exist. The providers exist. What is missing is the bridge that lets a city in Porto learn what already worked in Tallinn. The Alliance is that bridge, so Europe stops paying for the same lesson twice.
Europe doesn’t need another policy paper. It needs the confidence to build again.
03 // THE ALLIANCE
→ WHY WE BUILT THIS
European Urban Future Alliance.

Europe deserves a voice for the cities it is rebuilding right now.

Open Web E-Paper Closed Platform

Not a magazine. Not an agency. Not another feed. The European Urban Future Alliance is a continental editorial layer with three connected surfaces: an Open Web that anyone can read, a quarterly digital E-Paper that 30,000 urban decision-makers receive on the same morning, and a Closed Platform where Europe’s urban operators meet behind the scenes. We built it because Europe’s most important conversation, the one about its cities, was happening everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Your partnership sits across all three layers, on every surface your buyer touches.

→ NOT AN AD BUY · A MOVEMENT YOU CAN JOIN

One signature. A whole continent in your corner.

Becoming part of the European Urban Future Alliance isn’t buying four ad slots. It’s stepping into the small group of companies that decided, on day one, to help Europe get its urban confidence back. What follows is what your company actually gets, and where it lands. Read it as a map of presence, not as a media plan.

09 // BEING PART, FROM THE INSIDE
→ WHAT JOINING ACTUALLY FEELS LIKE

Founding Partners aren’t buyers. They’re co-authors of a continent.

S08 showed what the Launch Partnership contains. This is about what it actually feels like to be one of the fifty-seven companies inside this thing from day one. Twelve things you get that don’t fit into a media plan.
→ VOICE
You shape the editorial agenda.
The themes, questions and blind spots you care about get into issue planning. Founding Partners are consulted before, not informed after. Your perspective reaches the desk of the Editor-in-Chief.
→ ACCESS
You walk into every room with us.
Closed roundtables, editorial briefings, launch-eve dinners, city-hall visits. Every room the Alliance walks into, a Founding Partner can walk into too.
→ CRAFT
You help make it good.
You preview each issue before release. You flag factual gaps, suggest angles, challenge claims. Your expertise makes the product sharper before it lands.
→ STORY
You become a case, not a claim.
When your projects work, they become case studies. When they don’t, the Alliance writes honestly about that too. You show up as someone who was in motion, not someone who watched.
→ NETWORK
You meet the other fifty-six.
Founding Partners know each other on purpose. We introduce across sectors and countries. The conversation that starts at the launch dinner can run for five years.
→ STANCE
You stand for something visible.
Your logo in the Founding Wall is a public statement: we don’t sit out Europe’s urban decade. Few marketing moves age as well as that one.
→ INTELLIGENCE
You see patterns before the market does.
Quarterly Founding-Partner briefings with the Alliance’s editorial and data team, covering the trends our newsroom is tracking across 27 countries, months before they surface in broader media.
→ LEGITIMACY
You earn trust you can’t buy elsewhere.
Appearing next to expert voices and reference projects isn’t the same as a paid placement. Your brand gains the editorial halo that comes from sitting inside real work, not around it.
→ REACH
Your story travels further than your logo.
Founding-Partner mentions are picked up across the cross-media newsletter, the Open Web archive, and the Alliance’s press outreach. One signature, many echoes.
→ LEGACY
Your name stays in the record.
Every issue is archived, indexed and cross-referenced on the Open Web. Your logo is discoverable, citable and attributable for years, not impressions.
→ SIMPLICITY
One team. One contract. One summer.
No agency round-trips, no four separate briefings, no four separate invoices. The Alliance team handles coordination across the E-Paper and the three Print Specials.
→ FIRST MOVE
You earn first-mover recognition.
Every subsequent issue will reference the Founding cohort. Your company gets named as one of the fifty-seven that showed up when Europe started moving again. That origin story doesn’t fade.

2.999 € is not the price of an ad. It’s the cost of being on the record.

Every industrial brand today owns a version of the same regret: we saw it coming and we didn’t step in early enough. The Alliance is your chance to fix that story before it gets written. Here is what your signature actually buys:
  • Permanent standing in Europe’s urban record. Your company becomes one of the fifty-seven that were there at the start. That entry stays in the archive and in every future issue, long after 2026.
  • A seat at the editorial table. You shape the themes, you preview the issues, you’re consulted before the continent reads them. Ordinary media buyers don’t get that.
  • Four credible contexts, one summer. Twelve weeks of consistent presence beside reference projects and expert voices, instead of four random impressions on four random feeds.
  • A position that cannot be re-issued. Founding-partner status exists for Issue 01 only. From Issue 02 onward, the same package moves to the standard Alliance rate card and the founding wall stops accepting names.
  • Proof of intention. This is what an industrial brand with a European ambition actually does. Your logo in the founding wall is the public artefact of a decision that your investors, your board and your future customers will thank you for.
11 // WHY JOIN NOW
→ THE WINDOW IS WIDE OPEN

Founding partner is a once-in-a-platform role. And it’s yours to take.

Every significant media platform has a founding cohort. Later partners buy visibility. Founding partners earn a position that never gets re-issued. Here is what joining Issue 01 gives your company, and why stepping in now is the only time this shape of upside exists.
→ 01
57
Founding seats in total.
Issue 01 has a hard cap of 57 Launch Partnerships across all of Europe. Fifty-seven companies will share the founding wall. Everyone else reads them.
→ 02
Touchpoints, one signature.
Your company appears in the E-Paper and in three of Europe’s most trusted urban print titles, across one twelve-week summer. One contract, four appearances, zero agency round-trips.
→ 03
27
Countries reached, on one morning.
Every EU member state receives Issue 01 on the same day, in English, alongside your logo in the Founding Partner Wall. Your buyer and your buyer’s peer hold the exact same issue in hand.
→ 04
Visibility, archived for good.
Every future issue references this Founding cohort. Every future page on the Open Web cross-references you. Your position compounds quietly, for the decade Europe needs to get its act together.
